Digital literacy is at the heart of remote work.

2. Upskilling and reskilling will play a major role in advancing one’s career

Amidst the Covid 19 pandemic, we saw many people lose their jobs. Some started working for a less-qualified role while some are still looking for a position. Companies are facing losses and want to cut costs wherever possible. In that case, if automation could solve the job that you are doing or if you aren’t qualified enough to handle the shifting responsibilities of the role, why would they hire or keep you?
Automation and digitalization across different industries call for an urgent need of upskilling and reskilling. They are crucial for advancing in your career and also serves as a safeguard against future setbacks.

The gig economy is characterized by flexible working hours, accountability of work, and different formats of work like contractual, independent, part-time, and so on.
