Besides this, the Akodara village with a population of 12,00 was helped by the bank so that its people could witness the revolutionary change in their village and in the country as well. What is the Digital Village Scheme…?? The most analytic strategy of the government under this mission is to work for the villages of India in making them Digital. Therefore, under the Digital Village Scheme, villages will be transformed into cashless villages. In addition to this, under the concept of Village Digitalization, all the residents of the villages will be made to do their transaction activities online. Basically, the only motive behind making the villages digitally strong is to make the towns engaged in digital as well as cashless activities. Let us now gain a little more knowledge about the Akodara Village… The Akodara Village is located in the Sabarkantha district in Gujarat and it has a population of 12,00 people with 220 families. Adding on to the same, the primary occupation of the people of this village is farming and rearing. Moreover, when Shree Narendra Modi was the Chief Minister of Gujarat, he also opened the country’s first animal hostel.

Besides all this, digitalization has also benefitted the villagers. Additionally, earlier the villagers had to pay an amount of ₹ 700 just to go to the district headquarters, but now this process is being done with a much easier and convenient process.
